The FAC (Furnaces
with Air Conditioning)
models modulate both on heating and cooling. There are two sensors
that measure the temperature of the air being distributed to the home.
This graphic depicts the FanHandler's response to heating supplied
temperatures. |

|
The air conditioning action is the
other portion of the FAC's capability. It reacts to cooling
temperature output but holds tightly to the humidity removal portion
of the heat. The air conditioning compressor looks at moisture removal
and temperature reduction as the same thing. It doesn't know the
difference between the two. That is where the FanHandler outperforms
anything on the market. It automatically adjusts the sensible to latent
heat ratio so that it is balanced towards humidity reduction until the
humidity is reduced. |
NEVER A
COLD DRAFT !
The FanHandler measures the temperature
of the air being delivered to your home and adjusts your blower's
output so that you won't feel a cold draft. 75 degree air is warm if
it is standing still. However, if you move that same 75 degree air at
full blower speed, it is a cold draft.
STOP THAT FAN FROM BANGING ON AND OFF
 |
|
If
you are fed-up with that blower banging on and off and that noisy
operation, you don't need a new furnace. All you need is the
FanHandler to upgrade your present furnace. The FanHandler eliminates
those cold drafts that you feel when the blower first comes on. You'll
enjoy smooth, draft-free comfort throughout your home. |
WARM UP THOSE COLD ROOMS
 |
|
When
your present blower shuts off, cold air falls to the floor and races
down stairways. The warm air rises to the ceiling and to upper floors
in split-level and two story homes while the lower levels freeze. Each
room in your home looses or gains heat at a different rate. When your
blower bangs on and off, there isn't enough time during the on-periods
to heat those rooms that are losing the most heat. Some rooms are warm
and the ones that are cold can't catch up. |
A room on the sunny side of the house gains heat
while rooms on the shady side of the house lose heat. That is another
reason why you have cold rooms. The FanHandler keeps the air gently
moving and mixing so that temperatures level-out from room to room. It
doesn't take a high speed blower to do this job. It takes a FanHandler.
It's like Italian dressing. You have to shake it to mix it up. Once
you've got it mixed-up, you only have to jiggle it to keep it mixed.
